FORT PIERCE, Fla. (AP) - A Florida teenager accused of bludgeoning his parents and then throwing a party has entered no contest plea to two counts of first-degree murder. St. Lucie Circuit Court Judge Robert Makemson on Wednesday set a sentencing hearing for March 10.

Prosecutors say Tyler Hadley killed Mary Jo and Blake Hadley in July 2011.

That night some 60 people gathered for a party at their Fort Pierce, playing beer pong, smoking cigars and drinking. Friends described Hadley as being in a good mood and hospitable during the party.

Hadley's lawyers failed to have charges changed to second-degree murder due to him being 17 at the time.
