Woman watches surveillance video of her truck's tailgate being stolen in under 30 seconds.


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As this surveillance video shows, the tailgate was stolen from this truck in a matter of seconds in broad daylight.

The truck's owner, Stacy Doyle was working at Pet World on San Jose Boulevard Tuesday when she says her tailgate was stolen around 11:10 a.m.

The video shows the tailgate being removed from the truck and hoisted away in a matter of seconds. Doyle says the pink Chevy bow ties make her tailgate easy to recognize.

According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office incident report, the tailgate is worth an estimated $500. The unknown suspect or suspects face a charge of grand theft.
