Sure, the masked Darth Vader of Star Wars has an attractive in an evil way quality about him.

(And he gets points for saying he is Luke Skywalker's father.)

But according to the Washington Post's Wonkblog, Vader is more popular than President Obama, Congress and all of the 2016 presidential candidate hopefuls.

The news organization compared the favorability of political leaders with Star Wars' characters and as of Wednesday Americans were OK with backing the fictional villain for the oval office instead of Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush.

These numbers suggest that if "Star Wars" were real and Darth Vader decided to enter the 2016 presidential race, he'd be the immediate front-runner.
