JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Dad Andrew Stainsby saw our Apple Project on TV and thought it would be a great mission for the Native Sons and Daughters group.

The Timucuan Federation of the group decided to wash cars to fundraise for our Apple Project. We're trying to build a free dental clinic for folks who can't afford a dentist.

The group, formerly known as Indian Guides, tries to carry out activities to inspire time together between parents and children.

Stainsby says the kids got very excited to help. He says drivers were willing to stop and participate.

The effort raised $318, which will turn into $636 because the Weaver Foundation is matching donations.

A big thanks to the Native Sons and Daughters Timucuan Federation!
