WOODBINE, Ga. -- A methamphetamine lab was found inside a Kingsland hotel and mini storage facility Tuesday afternoon.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Kings Suites and Mini Storage in the 500 block of South Lee Street after an anonymous tip investigators to the site, according to a release from the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

The tenants who leased the room had vacated before investigators arrived, the release detailed. The building was evacuated and a crew began the clean up process.

Sheriff Jim Proctor said that dealing with meth labs is a large and complex problem. "Meth labs are a problem not just here in Camden County but also across the region and, to some degree, across the country. I am fully committed to meeting this threat and keeping this scourge out of our neighborhoods. With the training and expertise our deputies have received I believe we can deal with the problem head on."

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
