JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Sharks management has guaranteed a win when the team hosts the New Orleans VooDoo on Monday, July 14th. If the Sharks don't defeat New Orleans on that day, then every fan who purchases single-game tickets to that game will receive a free ticket to the next home game against the L.A. KISS on July 26th.
If the Sharks lose against the VooDoo, each season ticket holder will receive one voucher for a free single-game ticket for the 2015 season.
"When we beat the VooDoo, all fans who purchased single-game tickets for that game will get $5 off tickets for the July 26th game against the KISS," said Sharks V.P. of Ticketing and Owner Steve Curran. "Sharks fans can't lose either way."
The game against the VooDoo will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. on July 14th. Fans are encouraged to wear white for a "white out." The Sharks will also be wearing all white uniforms.
The Sharks have a (6-9) record with 3 games left to play. They are mathematically still alive for playoff contention and even a division title, but the chances are very slim for both scenarios because of all of the other things that would have to happen in order for these scenarios to happen.
