LAKELAND, Fla. -- In a matchup of two nationally ranked teams, Weston Sagemont defeated Providence 78-59 in the FHSAA Class 3A Boys Basketball Final Four on Tuesday afternoon.

Grayson Allen, a Duke signee and a McDonalds All-American was held to 9 points on 3-11 shooting. The Providence star opened the game with a 3-pointer, but it was the only one he made out of 8 attempts. When the first quarter was over, Sagemont had a 28-14 lead.

Providence trailed 42-30 at halftime, and although they did cut the deficit to 7 points during the third quarter, Sagemont was too strong.

The Stallions finish the season with a (28-5) record while Lions improve to (31-0).
